The Deep Dark Woods

The Black Hen Music recording artists from Saskatoon, were chosen via online voting as the artist to immortalize their home province in song during the CBC Great Canadian Song Quest last fall. The place they wrote and sang about, also chosen by online voting, was Good Time Charlie’s in The Plain’s Hotel in Regina and the result, “Charlie’s (Is Coming Down)” is a timeless gem. Saved By Vinyl released their CBC Great Canadian Song Quest winning song on 7-inch vinyl.
